We used to think chocolate was a diet no-no. Now it's just what the doctor ordered. Dark chocolate has earned an angelic rep as a powerful antioxidant, with compounds called flavonoids that protect heart health. Problem is mass production strips flavonoids from most bars in the candy aisle. But British MD Keith Scott-Mumby has concocted The Doctor's Chocolate, chocoholic's dream: a luscious raspberry truffle that combines unprocessed dark chocolate, natural fruit sweetener and an amino acid that reduces daily stress and tension while sharpening mental clarity. Each truffle has a modest 20 calories, with one gram of fat. Scott-Mumby says to eat two pieces a day. And you wouldn't defy the doctor, would you?
